Synthesis of wafer-scale single crystal monolayer hBN film

  • After the growth of wafer-scale single crystal graphene in 2014, there have been several difficulties in single crystal growth of other 2D materials. Our group have succesfully synthesized wafer-scale monolayer single crystal hBN film through self-collimation of hBN grains on a liquid Au substrate. This research published in Science(2018.11.16).

Ultra high-crystalline multilayer hBN synthesized on Fe Foil

  • Our group and co-work group synthesized the best quality hBN using chemical vapor deposition method. This recent results published in Nature Communications(2015.10.28).
